The TOPS Frog Market Special XL FMSXL-02 uses a 7.50 inch 1095 carbon steel blade with a Tungsten Cerakote finish that delivers exceptional slicing performance and corrosion resistance in a heavier duty size. At 0.090 inch thick, this blade is thicker than the standard version but maintains the same excellent cutting geometry. Because of this, it becomes a versatile tool for your kitchen prep, hunting, fishing, camping, or food service instead of just a specialty blade that stays home.

Wide Heel and Comfortable Micarta Handle

In addition, the XL features a wide heel and steep curve that allows for deep shearing cuts and excellent slicing ability. The thin blade stock provides added flexibility for working around bones when processing chicken, pork, or fish. Moreover, the green canvas Micarta handle gives a secure, ergonomic grip in wet, dusty, or sweaty conditions. The thicker blade stock compared to the standard makes it more suitable for repetitive prep work and heavier ingredients.
