How do you maintain and carry the KA-BAR 1225?
Important Environmental Warning: While this knife carries the historic U.S. Navy stamp, traditional 1095 Cro-Van steel and stacked leather are highly vulnerable to saltwater degradation. The exposed cutting edge requires frequent oiling, and the leather handle needs routine conditioning during maritime or high-humidity operations. The knife secures firmly into the included 1225S brown leather belt sheath, proudly embossed with the U.S. Navy logo.
