The ESEE-4HM-B offers a traditional, classic feel on one of the most popular fixed blade platforms ever made. The “HM” in ESEE-4 HM stands for “Handle Modification.” This design removes the standard model’s finger choil and provides a rounded, “broomstick” style Micarta handle.
Consequently, this knife is a favorite among bushcrafters and outdoorsmen who prefer a more traditional, hand-filling grip for carving and other woods-craft tasks. The knife is built for hard work, featuring a thick .188″ blade made from 1095 carbon steel.
The blade is finished with a durable black powder coat. This, as a result, provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion on the high-carbon steel. The 4.13-inch, full-flat-ground blade is an exceptional slicer, yet it has enough backbone for tough utility and survival jobs.
Instead of Kydex, this model includes a high-quality, handcrafted brown leather pouch sheath for a classic carry. Alternatively, if you prefer the standard handle and a Kydex sheath, check out the ESEE-4 Black Kydex Sheath. The ESEE-4 HM is proudly made in the USA. You can learn more about ESEE’s lifetime warranty at the official ESEE Knives website.
